Billing occurs on each monthly anniversary of your join date.
The main advantages of PayPal are, first, that it never expires like a credit card, and, second, you have more privacy, in that no one but PayPal knows your credit card or bank account number.
Payments may be drawn on your bank account or, in most countries, a major credit card.
